This is a program where participants face their own personal values through not only listening to experiences of others but also putting themselves in others shoes.
After the disaster, many people left Minamisanriku Town to find a new job as well as a place to live. On the other hand, from what kind of beliefs did the determination of the people who decided to continue live in and rejuvenate this town even after the disaster. By watching a video which summarizes interviews and experiences of residents, think about what to do if the same situation actually happened to you. From this program, you will be able to realize what is most important to you.

・Lecture "About Minamisanriku Town after the disaster" (15 minutes)
・Video "What would you do" (15 minutes)
・Experiences of local residents (30 minutes)
・Workshop "What would you do"
・Write a message card
From when the disaster occurred to restoration, recovery and new town planning. In this process, there were decisions and actions by those who live in this area, in an effort to restart the town. We hope that participants put themselves in the shoes of those who experienced the disaster, not only listening to the experiences in this trip.
