Reconstruction volunteer tourism

Contents/ Itinerary for BOSAI Tourism

Planting trees for a coastal disaster prevention forest, environmental maintenance, replanting, raising seedlings, and orientation （background regarding the establishment of this group and the progress towards reconstruction）, social gatherings with local residents, and other activities can be made available based on the participants' requests.
A guided tour through the disaster affected area with explanations from a disaster storyteller （eyewitness） or other activities in the forest may also be possible upon request.

What we want to tell through the experiences of BOSAI Tourism Contents

1. Regional reconstruction
Creating an opportunity to consider the future of the region by engaging in the process of reconstruction.
2. Environmental and disaster mitigation education
Comprehending the importance of disaster mitigation and environmental education by understanding the history and significance of coastal disaster prevention forests
3. Education for career
Raise your risk awareness by coming in contact with people from the disaster affected area.

Minimum capacity

10 people. Consultation if necessary. Groups of less than ten people have been accepted in the past.

Maximum capacity

Around 50 people. Consultation if necessary.
