Tour the purification center facilities in Miyagi Prefecture

Contents/ Itinerary for BOSAI Tourism

We conduct "facility tours" at each purification center, where you can learn the sewage treatment process and observe treatment facilities. In the general tour course, after watching a video of the tsunami condition in the conference room, we will explain the damage situation at the time of the disaster on the rooftop. In addition, we will explain the tsunami countermeasures in our facilities on the tour. You will learn the role which sewers play while studying the mechanism of sewage treatment, water-purifying process, the damage during the earthquake disaster, its regional impact and the recovery process.
