BT0107 Yamamoto Town
This facility reflects the experiences and the opinions of victims, as about 40 percent of this town was inundated by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. 637 citizens lost their lives and the facility was built as a "Bosai Center to protect citizen's safety and wellbeing."
- Bosai Information Corner Visits: In addition to movies, pictures and other material related to the direct aftermath of the disaster, the path of recovery and the process of creating this new town are exhibited. Feel free to have a look!
- Bosai Base Facility Visits: A tour through the facility that serves as a Bosai Base for citizens.

We want to introduce the Bosai Center which will protect citizen's safety and wellbeing and the necessary protection measures regarding future disasters by showing several emergency goods and showcasing the welfare evacuation space, and exhibitions in this facility built based on the painful experiences of Yamamoto citizens.
