A guide will provide detailed explanation about the exhibition.
You will learn about the mechanism of tsunamis, the history of tsunami hazards, facts and lessons of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami, and efforts to protect lives from natural hazards.
Please feel free to contact us as we can adjust the time and content of the tour.
[Example 60 minutes tour] After watching an introductory video (about 10 minutes), the guide will explain the main exhibits in the order of Zone 1 "Understanding History" → Zone 2 "Knowing the Facts" → Zone 3 "Learning Lessons".
Through conveying the importance of preparing for natural hazards and the ability to think individually and take according actions, we hope that we can think together about what each person can do to protect their lives.
